Connecting Children with Nature
Russian River Area State Parks
June 12-16, 2017
8:00 AM - 4:00 PM 

Join Stewards of the Coast and Redwoods for an exciting week-long summer program combining learning & play in the outdoors! Children get to explore nature, make new friends, do arts & crafts, and experience a night of tent-camping at Bullfrog Pond Campground. Activities take place in a different park each day: students will visit Armstrong Redwoods, Sonoma Coast, Willow Creek, and Austin Creek.

WHEN

Day Camp, Mon - Fri from 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Overnight Campout (optional), Time TBD
 

WHO

This day camp is geared for youth, ages 11-14 years old.


WHAT

  • Cost is $50 per child for the week
  • Activities focus on environmental education, led by trained Naturalists
  • New activities and location every day
  • Registration packet and packing list will be emailed to parents
  • Parent/guardian drop-off and pick-up (carpooling encouraged)
  • Bring lunch and water every day, Thursday dinner and Friday breakfast provided at the campout
  • Camping gear available for loan, if needed
