GROUP STEWARDSHIP PROJECTS

Stewardship Projects in Your State Parks

Stewards offers groups the opportunity to give back to their State Parks by volunteering. Opportunities are available at Armstrrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve, Austin Creek State Recreation Area, in the Willow Creek watershed and at Sonoma Coast State Park.

Activities may include:

  • Trail work
  • Invasive species removal
  • Fence projects to protect fragile habitat
  • Beach Cleanups

Stewards is currently funded by the San Francisco Foundation to replace, repair and install fencing at Armstrong Redwoods during the summer of 2016. Contact Scotty Lawyer for more information.
